Howard Hanson Dam Flood Watch
The Facilities Department is working closely with the Emergency Management staffs of the City of Renton and King County to remain current on the status of Howard Hanson Dam pool restrictions and the potential threat to The Puget Sound ESD Building.
The ESD has requested that the City of Renton Emergency Response Risk Assessment Team complete an evaluation of our facility and provide guidance on steps we may incorporate into the planning process to insure that we are prepared should a breach of the Dam and levy system occur and our area be threatended by the flood waters. We expect that assessment in the next two weeks.
Mike Brown serves as the agency point of contact for emergency response. If you have any questions, please give Mike a call at 425-917-7648. In Mike's absence you may also speak with Andrea Dombroski, Director of Operations, at 425-917-7631.
Check MyPSESD.org often, as we will continue to provide updates as we become aware of new information.
