Bomb
Threat Plan
- In
the event of a bomb threat, remain calm. Keep
the caller on the line and try to obtain as much information
as possible about the threat . If you find
a suspect device, do not touch it. Contact
your supervisor immediately.
- Notify
the police/fire department by calling (9) 911.
Report your name, exact location (Puget Sound Educational
Service District, 800 Oakesdale Ave SW, Renton, and
location in the building), and information about the
incident.
- Contact
the switchboard (425.917.7600), who will notify the Superintendent.

Superintendent and law enforcement will determine
what action is to be taken.
- If
building is to be evacuated, a fire drill will be
initiated. Follow normal fire drill evacuation
procedures.
- Do not reenter the building until instructed by
the Superintendent to do so.
